These are intimate one take recordings with a studio grand using just the reverb of a living room and the limitations of a smart phone mic. Drawing upon music that was part of the Gloria Dei Lutheran's Advent music services in 2019, Josh creates fresh unique arrangements on the spot, and more than once stumbles upon creating an entirely new piece in the moment. These recordings were part of a holiday gift that was provided to Gloria Dei with the intention on turning this into a program the following year. The only people to have heard this music are those in that congregation who accepted that musical gift... until now.
